About Us

Background

2001 : Programme concept born

The concept of a farm shop loyalty programme was born as a means to attract customers back to farm shops after the devastating effects of the outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease in 2001. However, there has never been an intention to compete with the mega loyalty schemes of the multi nationals, but to offer a personalised programme with incentives for the surrounding community offering good value rewards and with no strings attached.

2002-2004 : Award to get the programme started

In July 2002 Country Living published a few lines about the invitation to apply to the Woman of the Year Foundation for a Second Chance Grant for which one needed to demonstrate that one's own rural living had been affected by the Foot and Mouth outbreak. I was one of two women who were given an Award in November 2002. This Award enabled me to devise a name for the programme, get the logo designed as well as an elementary computer programme written. With some neighbourly advice and support from Business Link trials were run during 2003 and in 2004 the Triple f Loyalty programme became a useful and effective tool for those selling farm fresh foods as wells as providing rewards for those who buy from their local farm shop regularly.

2005 : Triple f Loyalty by the Internet

In order to cope with the increase of customers who are buying 'farm fresh foods' the Triple f Loyalty programme is now available to independent farm shops via this site on the Internet. Not only has the capacity of the programme been increased but the range of reports has been much improved to provide valuable management information for the shop owner.

2006 : Further developments...

To accommodate requests from established farm shops, the Triple f programme can be adapted to display their own identity - that is to show their own name, using their own colours, font and photos. Contact us to discuss this tailored adaptation and for a quote to suit specific requirements.

We are also researching the feasibility of using electronic reading of membership cards. This will require the reader and a small monitor by the till to enable direct recording of customer business. The obvious benefit is eliminating the manual recording and data entry and the ability to run daily reports with all current loyalty data included. Please contact us for up to date information on this facility.

Triple f Philosophy

LOCAL LOYALTY PAYS - literally

As more and more people change their buying patterns and seek fresh locally produced food, the mutual benefits between farmer/producer and local customers and community become apparent. The Triple f Loyalty programme provides records and reports to further these mutual benefits that can make a difference to your local environment, your local economy, your health and your lifestyle.
